Case Study – Corporate Clients:  Show Me How To Play

i2i Technology was asked to build this new and cutting edge website from the ground up.

Our brief from Show Me How Play Ltd was to create a ‘community’ website that allowed viewers from around the world to learn a song played by their favourite band through online video tuition.

The key to the site was the display of videos that showed at least 4 separate video components at one time (e.g. separate videos for drums, bass, rhythm guitar and lead guitar) all of which must be independently selectable so that, for instance, the video of the Lead guitar can fill the screen if selected. In addition 7 different audio feeds had to be selectable, adjustable and independently mutable.

To meet the demands of the Record Companies, the content had to be DRM protected. Our challenge was to create a DRM solution for QuickTime when this was going to be the first such solution developed anywhere in the world.

To create the online community amongst the site viewers, we built profile, forum and Blog facilities.
